Cancellation Policy
Check-in and Check-out: Check-in: 2:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM Early check-in and late check-out requests may be accommodated based on availability but cannot be guaranteed. No Smoking or Vaping: For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside Idalia House and on the property. There is zero tolerance for this policy and it may result in early departure with no refund. No Pets: We LOVE pets, however, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets at Idalia House. Please plan alternative arrangements for your animals during your stay. If you are looking for some local options, please contact us as we may be able to refer you to some local pet-sitting options. Occupancy Limits: To preserve the luxury and comfort of our space, we do not provide extra beds or cots. Each room is set to accommodate a specific number of guests, and we ask that all guests adhere to these limits. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to arrival are fully refundable. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to arrival will incur a minimum charge of one night’s stay. Housekeeping and Maintenance: Idalia House is maintained to the highest standards. Daily light housekeeping is provided. Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. Any items found missing or damaged will result in additional charges. The Property: The residence was built in 1869 and is not wheelchair accessible. The bedrooms are located on the second floor. Please note there are stairs to access all bedrooms. Parking: Please park in the driveway. Please be mindful of our other guests and do not block them in. Licence plates will be taken at check-in and you will be asked to move your vehicle if you are blocking anyone in. Quiet Hours: To ensure a relaxing environment for all, we observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Respect for Property and Other Guests Please respect Idalia House, fellow guests, and our community. Any excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or violation of policies may result in early departure without a refund. Liability: Idalia House is not responsible for personal items lost, stolen, or left behind. Guests are encouraged to safeguard their valuables. Thank You! We’re delighted to host you at Idalia House.
